About Me
I graduated from Texas State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Technical Production. I spent those four years studying and practicing sound design, sound engineering, and also lighting design, projection/video design and engineering.
I have a passion for immersing the audience in a world, allowing them to become a part of the story and using them as part of the narrative. Sound is an atmospherical tool, much like lighting, video, and scenery; you can alter the soundscape to change the circumstances of a narrative. I like to explore the reasons why we hear things the way we do and how that can be manipulated to alter our perceptions.
Outside of my career I love to discover new music from alternative artists, I take a sort of pride in discovering artists before they get popular and getting to watch them develop their sound and grow into their talent. I just think its awesome seeing people succeed, its exciting! I also YouTube, meme culture, and podcasts, (currently following "My Favorite Murder") I think its really interesting seeing how different people live and think while all existing together.
